Getting started
A quick chat to determine if Xero is the right accounting solution for your business. It is a perfect fit for most small to medium sized businesses. We work with our clients to scope out their needs and identify areas specific to their business that may differ from the standard settings.
Time to implement
We are very experienced Xero implementors - usually, we can have you up and running within a day. You'll give us the business information we need, and we'll get it in the system. We work with our clients on ‘go-live’ day to ensure they know how to keep trading, and give ongoing training and support as needed.
How much does it cost?
We work with you to determine the scope of work and provide you with a quote. Cost is determined by how long it takes to get data into shape, and by any extra requirements like form design or custom training. The rest of the cost is just the Xero subscription.
Support and training
We provide long term support for our clients at a simple per-hour rate. There's also plenty of free support available on the Xero website, and we publish our own regular Xero tips and tricks and send them out to subscribers.
Frequently asked questions
Do you provide accounting or bookkeeping services?
No, we don't. Our work with Xero is about getting it working properly, either on its own or getting it connected to other software. We can recommend a number of great accountants and bookkeepers for you to work with, if you need one.
Do you support any other accounting software?
No, we made a conscious decision to focus on the best! Xero is great. We don't need anything else. Certainly QBO is popular in some parts of the world and there's an ole dog called MYO-something that lurks in some corners, but it's Xero that works for us and most of our customers.
Is the transition from legacy accounting to Xero difficult?
Generally not. The switch over happens at the beginning of a month and all new transactions must be made in Xero. There is no need to wait until prior month is finished in the old system as there is a method for entering opening balances that is anticipated to happen when the data is ready. No drama.
One of the rewards we get after implementing Xero is to watch users exclaim their joy at how intuitive and easy it is to use Xero. We searched for a definition of 'what is it called when a person waves their hands in the air with excitement' and got this.

Will my Accountant need to use Xero if I convert to Xero?
Yes, but they use the same instance of Xero that you subscribe to.
There is no longer "your accounts" and "your accountants version of your accounts." It's just the one live instance.
What if my Accountant doesn't use Xero?
Introduce them to the 21st century. If they're not willing to jump onboard, find a new one.
To be fair, it's very rare these days that they would not use Xero.
